Hello, I am Usha Sharma.

With the blessings of Goddess, I have created a pretty amazing life. My longest commitment has been my marriage of 37 years. I am married to the love of my life and we are more in love now than the day we were married. Our marriage is the union of the divine embodied mystery living with the divine embodied mystery. Every day is full of new joy. We have a ritual of closing each day with a long hug, looking into each other’s eyes and saying I love you.

Through our work, we have been able to create financial freedom and enjoy an abundant lifestyle with homes on the east and west coasts of the United States. We are blessed with two adult children who have each gone on to be successful, kind, and caring people in their unique ways.

But it wasn’t always this way.

In the 1960s, I was a small brown girl with pigtails, living in a poor village in rural India. Our home was made of dried mud and had no running water, heat, or indoor plumbing.

I remember being about four years old and walking in a field barefoot behind my mother. My toes sank into the earth as I helped her to pick cotton out of the claw-like pods. The sun beat down on our bare heads. We couldn’t afford to hire more farm hands.

“There are no poor people. There are only poor circumstances. People are resourceful.”

Although our circumstances were poor the family was pious. Each year, instead of going on vacation which was unheard of in those days, we went on pilgrimage to the shrine of the Goddess in the foothills of the Himalayas. And on Tuesday nights, in my mother’s village, the family gathered on the flat roof under the velvety black star studded sky and sang all night hymns of praise to the Goddess.

Goddess has been woven into my being from my earliest days. And I have brought that ancient indigenous wisdom of India to the west with me to create an extraordinary life for myself and for those who work with me.

I have been a transformational entrepreneur for over twenty years.

Along with my east west heritage, I weave in insights from my graduate work in psychology, brain and behavior. Raised in England, in a bilingual bicultural world of Christianity and Hinduism, I am drawn to the one true love at the heart of all spiritual and religious paths. I experience that as my true Self, as the Beloved, as Friend and as Goddess.
